Scott has been in the title business for over 42 years starting out as a title examiner trainee for Safeco Title in Seattle Washington. He has had a wide and varied institutional job experience at both local and national levels working for several title agencies, underwriters and other financial service companies across the country focusing on operations, sales and management. He has been at Westcor for over 19 years starting out as their Western Regional manager in Denver. He has been responsible for operations nationwide and the organizational growth of the company.
Scott has been a member of several Land Title Associations and a member of ALTA for over 25 years serving on multiple committees, task forces and work groups. He has served on the CLTA (California Land Title Association) board of governors and has been a member of the ALTA board of governors the last four years.
Scott received his CTIS (Colorado Title Insurance Specialist) and NTP (National Title Professional) designation in 2015. In addition to his role as the Chair of the Underwriters Section he also serves on the Best Practices Executive Committee, the board liaison for NTP Council and has recently been appointed as the Vice Chair of the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation.
Scott Chandler is currently a Senior Advisor of Westcor Land Title Insurance Company, working with various parts of the company and consulting senior management. He and his wife Julie live in Castle Rock Colorado.
